Become a volunteer and join the CONTACT team! The work CONTACT Cape-Atlantic accomplishes would not be possible without the generous help of its dedicated volunteers. The gift of your time provides the support necessary to accomplish our mission.
The volunteer opportunities at CONTACT Cape-Atlantic are very flexible and can usually fit into everyone's schedule. You can help with our calls one shift a month, or as often as your schedule permits. Hopefully you will consider becoming a Reassurance volunteer for this valuable service.
At CONTACT there are many opportunities to volunteer
- Making calls to clients, Reassurance

- Office and clerical work (usually Monday to Friday from 8-4)

- Preparing newsletters for mailing
- Distributing CONTACT materials in the community
- Flexible schedules are available as most of our work is done in shifts from ( 8:30am to 11:00am; 11:00am to 1:30pm and 1:30pm to 4:00pm)

Training will be provided on a one-on-one basis.
Calls can be made from our phone center in Northfield, NJ. As this is a service that is provided 365 days a year, there are many opportunities to help.
If you are participating in a valid educational program which requires an internship for class credit you may be interested in an unpaid internship at CONTACT Cape-Atlantic.
Interns gain valuable experience while working with community-oriented non-profit.
At CONTACT there are many opportunities to volunteer

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with PC use, including Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal instructions

Encourage teamwork and engagement in your community by volunteering as a group! Although we cannot guarantee a group project which matches your availability, we do have a variety of meaningful, hands-on group opportunities to support our mission throughout the year.

- Are scheduled on weekdays from 8:30 am - Noon or 1 pm - 4:30 pm or during the evening of events
